burst_ artwork 103 / Wall of Laughter Nr. 3 - Lisbon (Special Edition): This special edition piece is part of my global AR (augmented reality) Mural Project called “Walls of Laughter“. A mural project I’ve started in spring 2021 and which I will unfold in the coming weeks and months. As the title reveals my signature HAHA will appear on walls all over the world. AR enabled once tapped into the mural/artwork a portal will open which is connected to a different HAHA mural on the other side of the world. This particular piece is a special edition since it is a moving wall a “mural/artwork“ on massive wood. I’ve painted this piece in Lisbon, Portugal at Arroz Estúdios association which is a non-profit organisation based in Beato, Lisbon. They provide working space for emerging artists, and event spaces for them to showcase their work. Their goal is to offer a space for artistic growth where cultural events take place to contribute to Lisbon’s rapid development in a creative, open and multi-cultural way. They work with both local and international artists engaging the local communities and giving international links. Furthermore they provide and host artists studios, a permanent NFT art gallery and a music venue for 500 people operating 5 days a week. After 2.5 years of building their international artistic community, art space and venue in Lisbon, they are building a project to put an end to being moved around by redevelopment and gentrification within the city. https://arrozestudios.pt/call-for-donations/ . Since their stay at their current place isn’t secured they asked me to create a mural which they could move in case they are asked to leave. Therefore I’ve decided to donate 50% of the revenues of the primary sale to Arroz Estúdios to fund their endeavor to purchase the place where they are currently at. - This is the digital layer of the physical artwork (painting on wood, 104 x 72 cm or 40.94 x 28.35 inches) + AR enabled (digital + physical augmentation) - The physical artwork is in the permanent collection of @arrozestudios (Lisbon)- Sound Design by: burst_ - Lisbon (Pandemic) Oct 2021, MP4, 2160 × 3090
