This picture was inspired by « The house of Asterion » by Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges and by the metaphysical worlds of the painter Giorgio De Chirico.
This is the story of the Minotaur depicted from the point of view of the monster, a tale about loneliness, despair and alienation. It explores the lines between Monstrosity and humanity, Death and redemption. In many ways it connects more with our actual world than its traditionnal version from point of view of the hero Theseus.
