On Twitter, I offered to write two custom poems at no cost to two people who would be selected by myself. They only had to retweet one of my already minted poems.

One account, Kert St Avorn caught my eye. He lives in Thailand. He is enthusiastic about DAO’s and writes very thoughtful and intelligent blog entries about the plight of indigenous people in Thailand. He also works for a legal organization that rights on their behalf. I told Kert that he could choose up to three words that would provide direction for the poem. He chose “You are worthy”.

I knew nothing of the indigenous people of Thailand two days ago. I decided to do some research and found that the government there does not support them, and has historically done everything possible to slowly take the land they live on. They live simple, eco friendly lives, and are a net positive for the earth if only because they protect Mother Earth and do not destroy the resources and the environment around them to live.

This poem is to be read down (perspective of the indigenous) and then back up (perspective of the government)
