I've created this painting in 2020 as a part of the "Hedonism Now" series which illustrates the seven deadly sins and their contemporary manifestations. The image describes egocentrism, overanalysis and false self-construction. The transparent monster, created as a side effect, is always near the beauty which is apparent. This NFT of 3914x5905 pixels is based on the original painting "Vanity 2020", painted with oil colours on a 30x50 cm aluminium panel. The reference was created using Blender and photography, and then composed in Photoshop.
