This stippled ink drawing by Jon Beinart was created over a 3 year period as a homage to his son as well as an nod to one of his favourite artists, Hieronymus Bosch. For some inexplicable reason Jon decided to render the entire composition with tiny dots with a .005 felt tip pen. While the process was meditative and satisfying at times, the arduous task of building up layers of dots over such a large detailed drawing became overwhelming and sometimes maddening, so long 3-6 month breaks were required to keep Jon sane. The drawing was eventually completed in 2017 and while this technique was effective, Jon decided to never render a drawing with tiny dots, ever again. This NFT is a 6000 x 4379 image.
