Over the years, I've learned one of the saddest things I've ever learned in my life: that love doesn't last. That it is in constant turmoil and disintegration, like the clouds in the sky, like our body that does not remain young, like the things of our world, which at one temperature would melt and at another would freeze. And that the love that stays in our minds forever, is not the happy and fulfilled one, nourished by friendship and admiration, but the one that, opened a door to paradise. Love is a brain chemistry that fills our lives. Who among our many subterranean inhabitants decides to fall in love? Love is a selective and personalized drug. Why this woman or this man and not any other? What did she or him suddenly show you, what did she/him remind you of what you once knew? Like knowledge, love is remembrance. Love is where your soul feels at home.
