The final image in my Teton Barn series. The summer in Grand Teton National Park comes after the stunning hues of autumn, freezing winter conditions, and a wet spring. While all seasons are stunning, there is nothing like the golden warmth of the early summer in the park. The blooming Arrowleaf Balsamroot and Lupine cover the wide-open fields below the towering mountains, and the wildlife are out with their newborns. It is a glorious time of year and a favorite time in the park. The Tetons only get about 60 days each summer that are frost-free, so it is a short, fleeting time, making each day a precious gift to be enjoyed to its fullest.
