As a kid, I grew up in the middle of Massachusetts and it was our family tradition to take a trip down to a beach in Rhode Island for our family getaway. The memories and the love for these trips is what led to my decision of choosing to capture this area. There’s a release of emotion from the crashing sound of the waves or when the radiant beams of the sunlight on your skin. I wanted to capture those moments and feelings in time. In my project, my goal is to evoke the same love for our coast and be able to share a part of my peace with you. With each photograph, I hope to transfer the tranquility and the calmness. There is a love and feeling that we all get when we interact with our coastlines which inspired and birthed this series, The Sea I See.

I will be donating a portion of the funds to Save The Bay which protects the Narragansett Bay
