Love is like a dream. Some more vivid than others, an escape that brings you back to reality. Always an unexpected journey that keeps you on your toes to how it all unfolds, yet you never quite reach an ending. Terrifying, but exhilarating all at once, leaving you no choice but to hang on for dear life or let go and enjoy the ride.

This song depicts the way I experience love. I have a joke that I manifest through writing songs lol but this song is an example of envisioning the kind of love I hoped to find and one day waking up to see it come to life. I’m learning how to be vulnerable in love again, and finding beauty in what that looks like within myself, in order to give love in its highest potential. Real love is rare to come by, so I savor every moment and take each experience as a blessing. These are the moments that make our lives sweeter. The imagery behind the lyrics and melodies is the best way I could represent the emotions I feel when falling in love.
