1000 foot drop offs on both sides, and at many points, the trail was no wider than the width of my shoulders. To make things a little more extreme, I visited this location during the mid-winter month of January. I had to wear micro spikes on my boots in order to achieve proper traction, as much of the trail was covered in ice. I’ve never been on a hike so exhilarating and potentially dangerous, yet the views were completely worth it once I reached the top.
