Dennis Schmelz

Born in Germany in 1988. Started with an education as an audiovisual media designer, he became an award-winnning filmmaker and travel photographer who's working with international clients worldwide. He shows the beauties of our earth in his own language. In addition to tutorials and coaching, he can often be seen as a lecturer or speaker at various live talks. Camera technique and workflow are his topics. Since the beginning of 2020, Schmelz has been an official Sony Ambassador and since then can also be seen more often in front of the camera. However, his favourite place is still behind the camera. Because in addition to film production, travel photography is his great passion. In his stunning images and films, he impresses viewers with exciting places, interesting people and unique stories. Seen from his very special point of view. His love of filmmaking is palpable in his impressive visual language. So it is not surprising that many of his films and photographs have won important awards.
