To bridge the gap between sentiment and anticipation of the future, Obvious and Ivona Tau drew inspiration from the covers of major magazines and a diverse collection of datasets to create fictitious covers produced by their AI models. These covers depict a spectrum of our human relationships with AI in various possible futures. From the worst to the best.

Thanks to the [aside] protocol all artworks were locked at mint time and are unlocked according to the state of a sentiment gauge, which estimates people’s feelings towards AI by monitoring various hashtags posted on X over the last 7 days that either translate positive or negative feelings towards AI.

As soon as the gauge reaches one of these intervals, the associated 10 unique NFTs will automatically be unlocked. Forever.
