The Heart Nebula (IC 1805) is about 7500 light years away from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the Milky-way Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia.
It was captured by yours truly in 2020 with a 152mm achromat telescope from the Israeli desert using 3 narrowband filters.
The different colors correspond to different element composition of the nebula: Green - hydrogen Blue - oxygen Red - sulfur
