From ancient human to the future of humanity. How will genetic and synthetic medical technology affect the evolution of humanity? What will we become?

The year is 2080 and humans no longer look human. As transhumanism takes hold and medical technology advances faster than our biological evolution can keep up, the human form has now been modified to survive in a world ravaged by greed and ignorance. A dystopian landscape void of any real substance or life, humans are no longer "human". But hey, at least we look good right?

Inspired by a recent artist residency I attended called Perfection/Speculation whose focus was on the modifiable human body as a medium of expression, experimentation, research and social interaction.
