FRACTUS NFT exhibited during ARTBASEL Miami 2022 at CONTEXT. This new exhibition by the artist Alejandro Rauhut begins with the abstrac- tion of his series “LAYERS OF BEING”, digitalizing and fractalizing it. It is born from the questioning about the value that the intangible and the ephemeral has for each one. Is an object worth more than an experience, an action than a feeling, a physical work of art or a digital one (NFT)? The artist takes the geometries, duplicating them in infinity and animating them. The continuous movement, the repetition of forms on different scales, the continuous exploration of geometries transcribed from the physical to the digital and back again. These end up being an unconscious analogy that alludes to fractals. They reach the point where there is a back and forth, where the origin becomes irrelevant, they are simply in a different form, plane, state, but in coherence and harmony.
