She opened her eyes. Laying on the dirt, covered with mud and with a few bugs crawling up her body. Her hammock was rocking as it was quite windy, and it just started raining. The drizzle shortly became a downpour, her clothes were already soaking wet. She stood up and looked around - she was completely alone. She tried to check her location but her phone was dead, out of battery, disconnected. “Rainforest, eh” - she mumbled and tried to focus. She remembered nothing.
She heard the spring nearby, walked towards it to wash her face. In the reflection she realised her head was covered with colourful feathers, a few colourful dreadlocks and braids, as well as plastic charms and who knows what - she thought she looked like an absolute mad person. What happened? She remembered nothing.
She removed the robes (Yeah, the robes - she thought. Where did they come from? Where are my denim trousers and the black t-shirt I wore last night?) and dipped her body in the fresh water. She closed her eyes, laid down on the surface and looked up the sky. She felt serene, it was so peaceful with the sounds coming from the jungle forest, its abundance of fauna and flora, the life. She remembered nothing.
She was transformed though, she felt like that.
