This token is based on an original large scale oil painting still in my personal collection. It is one of the very few works in the Qualia series which has been fleshed out to a high naturalistic finish.

The work started without a specific subject in mind but eventually, the theme of a couple, exploded and fused back together so that they share one body, emerged. Needless to say, this is a very personal work, referencing my own experiences and thoughts on long term relationships: Two people bound together, captive in their own flesh.

The original work is 180x130cm, oil on canvas and was finished in 2012
