my mind is in complete disarray

I can't focus on anything

my thoughts are constantly racing

and I can't seem to calm them down

it's like my brain is in overdrive

and I can't shut it off

I'm exhausted mentally and emotionally

from trying to keep up with my thoughts

I just wish I could find some peace

and quiet

for just a little while
