Chapter 8 opens with 4 1/1 mints of "subjects" which we only know of by partly revealed names. We have seen them before. We thought they were marionettes. As doubt lingers, a series of mints reveal The Accident, The Incident and The Encounter. A sense of foreboding and supernatural sweeps over. Hope and despair make a lethal cocktail together and things do take a dangerous turn once mutations kick in. Is the fate even worse than the House? Book 1 concludes with a sense of threatening new beginning. The last scene feels like The Marionette House might not be intact anymore.

Chapter 8: The Incident At The Marionette House concludes Book 1. There are 17 pieces in this chapter and the final one is #74. Book 2 is partly ready and it travels back in time to tell an origin story. No planned minting date for it. There is also a visually remarkable and idiosyncratic offshoot from Book 2 called Handle With Care. No spoilers but pretty exciting. Similarly no planned minting date for it as well. I am considering drops, projects and dedicated smart contracts as options to release those 2 parts but let life reveal itself, no rush..

The Marionette House mints start on KnownOrigin at the tail end of June 2022. The artwork will be presented at times as 1/1s so that the collectors can own authentic parts of the story. Other mints will be 10 editions to include a wider ownership of the story. Pricing will be standardized so as not to make preferences on the artwork. Text will include this explanation and the main story in each mint. However as per my discretion, I will at times add some additional text in the beginning talking about the artwork, the project or something else.
