//"MINIMAL ELENENT" series loop animation by Ivan Solyaev 2021
A series of reflections on the nature of the "new digital art" - on the possibilities, the new questions that these possibilities open up and on the theme of minimal sufficient dynamics in this.
The object of consideration is a dynamically distorted form, manipulating which creates spatial, ideally looped compositions with momentary hypnotic sensations found in them.
In the experiment, the method of creation is interesting - working with a system running and working in real-time. Each composition is a sensual random harmony caught in this procedural environment.
The questions the series poses are:
If Duchamp's sculptures found true - not decorative - dynamics would it be a different work? Assuming that form is never static, could an object be truly static? Can movement be part of a symbol? And part of an object?
