This vector illustration of the bones of a whale, is a reminder of my mental state when I was living in Albuquerque, NM years ago. I was in an extremely low place and found myself exploring myself, the natural wonders outside, and vector art for meaning. The Sandia Mountains were full of ancient fossils of sea creatures, hundreds of feet up in the sky. I was inspired to go home and zoom farther and farther into this drawing, adding more little fossilized creatures. The blues I felt, started to fade as I found a new happy memory and friend in each little creature.

• The stone in the middle is Larimar, one of my favorite natural depictions of the sea.
