This is one of the key pieces from the collection as it depicts the day I got the call from the school, telling me I was accepted. When painting this piece, I thought back to that day, on the one hand I wanted to warn myself to not pick up the phone, to not go down this road of abuse and tournament.

On the other hand, I was grateful for the experiences, since they made me the person I am today. This artwork is about taking and not taking chances, giving or not giving 2nd chances and having faith. Everything happens for a reason, so just paint your feelings away and be steadfast.
