Artists Lina Jonikė and Mantas Talmantas.

The artist‘s idea of creating a nude body covered with an embroidered coat, a towel or a band on a transparent slab of plastic attached to the base of a photo was first realised in 2001 for the diptych Sorrowing Christ which later became an iconography representing Lina’s style.

A portrayed nude body (or covered with a cloth) is like an empty canvas where the artist, with the help of a needle, creates an illusionary destiny of a man.

Lina Jonikė was awarded with an Excellence Award for the work Arnotas at the international Kyoto contest/exhibition.

The prototype used for this NFT is 200x125 cm. photograph covered with an embroidered transparent plastic.

NFT was realised by Mantas Talmantas who is an educator as well as artist and film maker. Talmantas specialises in fields of animation, illustration, 3D animation, photogrammetry and VR. Graduated from Vilnius art academy and international school of new media in Lubeck, where he studied photography, documentary filmmaking and media technologies. His first VR film was screened in FOFEST, New York 2016.
