An abandoned rock from the flawed Ether Rock contract. Origination: Transaction.
The day before the official Ether Rock contract was created, a flawed initial contract was deployed. Rocks 0 through 10 were purchased before the flaw was discovered. In writing the new contract, the creators decided to hard code the states of the existing rocks and start where the old contract left off.
Their fix was essentially a fork, which created doubles of rocks 0 through 10. The ones in the new contract went on to fame and glory, while their defective twins were left for dead. Once abandoned, those 11 original rocks can now be displayed and traded thanks to this wrapper contract.
