The artist set out across elysia, curious about the land. They encountered many sites of beauty shaped throughout the age of the beast, from roaring waterfalls to trees that scraped the sky. The creatures themselves were beautiful and majestic, with a vast array of features from which the artist learned.
Raphael whispered of the corruption of the beast to the artist, and told them of the holy ghost, a force more powerful than even the angels. It was the very force of life which raphael would bend, mikael would defend, apollyon would destroy, azrael would mourn, and metatron would record. The artist was to build the crosses of pure angelstone, brought down from the stars themselves.
And so, the artist journeyed across elysia again, erecting crosses across the land. When the beast and the other creatures of elysia had joined the holy ghost in the great dance beyond, the crosses stood to remind man of the angels and the forces outside of their power.
