Mount Batur in Bali is approximately 1700 meters high and is still known as an active volcano. We reached the meeting point at 3 am to watch the sunrise on Mount Batur. It was too dark. Right in front of where I was and in that darkness, a thin strip of light rising towards the sky caught my attention. When I asked the people next to me what these lights were, they gave me the headlamp I had to wear. They said that the lights I saw were the headlights of people climbing to the sunrise point of Mount Batur. I was so excited. I prepared to start the climb by walking towards where the climbing point started. I started climbing, but at that moment I didn't realize how difficult the climbing route was. The narrow path used to climb was quite steep and covered with rocks. We were climbing side by side with hundreds of people, and when we got tired, everyone helped each other and climbed higher. After about 1.5 hours of climbing, I reached the cafe located in the middle of the climbing point. It was quite crowded and those present were shouting 'You did it' and applauding everyone who climbed. This gave strength and morale to the people climbing there. After resting here for a while, we started a second and more challenging track to reach the top of the climbing point. As we went up, the weather got colder and we got more tired. But everyone was still helping each other by holding each other's hands. This second track, which I climbed at an angle of approximately 45 degrees for about 1 hour, was the most exciting and difficult climb I had ever done. And I Made It ! I reached the summit before the first light of the morning. At that moment, I felt how heavy the camera bag I was carrying on my back was. While I was preparing my camera, I bought my coffee from a small cafe there and watched the excitement of the people around me while drinking my coffee. When the sun began to rise, I saw that there were villages hidden in the fog under the sea of clouds, and I felt the joy of the people with whom I witnessed this sunrise.

As the sun rose on Mount Batur, the mountain layer in front of me and the colors of the sunrise fascinated me with all its magnificence.
