Amidst the darkness of a starry night, I found an ancient wonder lit only by the pale light of the stars.

In the dark, I heard wild horses running around me, and my heart beat faster. Isolated on an island in the middle of the pacific ocean, I listened to a lone plane crossing the sky.

A few minutes later, the moon starts to rise on the horizon, and I can see the green meadows shimmering lit by the moonlight. I could now see the majestic Moais, silent guardians of eternity.

Close my eyes in contemplation and respect. These sentinels stand tall and serene, protecting the ancient spirits that inhabit the island.

I was taken to Easter Island through a photography award. My Across the Universe photograph won first place in an international competition, and the prize was a trip to the island.

They let me choose the travel date, and I plan to be there at the exact moment to wait for the moon to rise behind the statues. This was my first destination exclusively to photograph, and that's when I started getting obsessed with planning.

Everything has a beginning, and 2017 was when I left everything I did before and started dedicating myself exclusively to photography.
