Ode To Those We Met Along The Way" is a piece of original poetry, inspired by all of the real life connections that I made with friends while in Miami for Art Basel in 2022 - repurposed and represented to new friends which I connected with in New York City for NFT NYC in 2023. I wanted to share to everyone that I met how special I felt all these connections are & should be to all of us; and the best way I felt I had to express that was through my art.

This piece utilized the digitally handwritten Ode piece from Art Basel 2022 by Kevin DeAngelis added on top of a photo captured of Lower Manhattan using my iPad from a location West of the Brooklyn Bridge between Dumbo & Brooklyn Heights. Captured Saturday 4/15/23 ~2:00 pm.

The 1/1 Photograph (as well as the corresponding IP rights to the photo) minted to my "Degen Photography" Collection was given away via a random draw on May 21st, 2023 to one of the collectors as a small act of performance art & social experiment.

A message to new friends and old ones too
An ode to those we met along the way
A special gift using an art "Thank You!"
The most prized grail within my collection
You may be surprised is not crypto art
But all these unique real life connections
We'll meet again, I feel it in my heart
To those we met along the way; au revoir!
