The 113 Restoration Project in Minersville, Pennsylvania is the most important train for me. This is the first Steam Locomotive I saw working up close and it is also the inspiration for this collection. I took pictures of this train for couple years. First I thought it was abandoned and was just a monument, I was wrong. This is a Restoration project where a group of very passionate people go and do all the proper maintenance to make sure this amazing machine is still in working conditions. Some of them do this as a voluntary job. This Locomotive was created in 1923 and as for the day of this capture was almost 100 years being one of the oldest locomotives around. That day I finally saw 113 working and they take their time to show me everything about the locomotive. Today I can say this is a mark on my captures bucket list.
