'The Land of Fire and Ice' in all of her glory.
Visiting Iceland in the middle of winter was a chaotically beautiful adventure. It was extremely difficult to do this small island justice due to extreme weather conditions during my time spent there.
However, high risk meant high reward... After snapping this I definitely felt like I had been rewarded. In between winds strong enough to blow you off your feet and freezing temperatures that you could feel in your bones, the conditions managed to clear up for some of the most awe inspiring scenes I have ever experienced.
This was my third time on this trip to Stokksnes and I couldn't be happier with the show that Iceland decided to put on for me. The wind stopped, the sky opened up, and fiery rays of light splashed across the peaks creating a scene that felt like a dream.
