In the summer of 2021, I worked as an architect in the Lower East Side of New York City. While it wasn’t my favorite job, I would sneak away during lunch breaks and take small walks around the area with my camera. On one of these walks, I found myself on the Manhattan Bridge, admiring the light and shadow that the buildings toyed with. Each street had a different interpretation of shadow play and this particular point was a favorite.
