I’m not scared to hang above the abyss. No matter whether it’s actual Puerto Rico trench on the edge of which we walk or the abyss of my own dark side.

I’ve experienced this feeling when it seems like the ground is literally slipping away from under your feet and you fall into abyss along with it or… just like now stay in the air floating like a feather.

And it doesn’t happen at the snap of a finger, of course. It happens because you’ve been doing a huge damn work before. Because you dare to look into the darkest corners of your soul and those very monsters who used to torture you and were buried there become your strongest and the most loyal defenders and guardians. You trust them because you trust yourself.

They are capable to be your backbone even there where the light is not able to leak. Unfortunately such places exist.

And yet, this is what you get when you dare to be brave enough in front of your own self. You tame your darkness. You have allies on both sides.
