on june 9th 2023, 'the abyss' was minted as the final work in the 'static' collection & then symbolically sent to the abyss by being immediately burned. initially the piece was visible in the 'static' collection, but changes on platforms like OS made burned pieces invisible, making the collection appear incomplete. due to its absence in the collection & enthusiasm from collectors about the piece, 'the abyss' was revived at the end of september 2023 as a special edition of 69 to officially complete the 'static' collection.
