The city of Steptoe as seen from Steptoe Butte in the Palouse Hills of Washington, USA.
The Palouse hills are Washington’s most fertile agricultural region. The windblown hills were named Le Pelouse (meaning grassland) by French-Canadian explorers and fur traders. Today the hills are covered with wheat as far as the eye can see.
During golden hour, the light plays on the rolling hills creating all the hues of green one can imagine.

My way of life is a little different than most.
In 2011, I gave up my career in software development for a new life as a nomadic photographer. For over 10 years I have been living in an RV and travelling North America searching for good and beautiful things.
Some people thought I was crazy for giving up a good career. Others thought I was brave. For me, it felt like the only option that was right and good.
I am living my life — my way.
And now I’m sharing my most beautiful moments with you.
