Sixth piece of the Memories of other lives series. Humans have tried for centuries to stop the dead from decaying. Faking life when there is still beauty has unsettling effects.

Through my multilayered technique approach, in this case, I seek to dissolve the distinct boundary between the contemporary moment and the past. The blending of layers in these images, shot in various antique shops, aims to highlight how certain objects have the unexpected ability to create a coexistence of different temporal dimensions.
