Welcome to Škodaverse Hoodie Gen-0. This phygital merch drop is a collaboration between Škodaverse x LTD.INC and co-created with Dario De Siena, ZafGod and MOYA. Škodaverse is the Web3 initiative at Škoda Auto. This phygital merch drop is the way of exploring cutting edge technology of blockchain, product ownership, authenticity and co-creation with the community.

The Škodaverse Hoodie Gen-0 is a project created for the community by the community. It all started with an open call competition to the artists and supporters of Škodaverse. The assignment for participants was to create an original design for the back of the hoodie and creative interpretation of the Škodaverse logo for the front.

In the end, we received so many incredible designs from talented artists and designers that we decided to select three winners: Dario De Siena, ZafGod and MOYA, whose art will be featured on the one hundred Škodaverse hoodies.

Dario:

Dario De Siena is a visual artist based in Zürich, Switzerland. He entered the NFT space in early 2021 and is NFT.NYC award winner for Best physical artist entering Web3 (2021). Dario’s piece represents the transition from Real Life to Web3 and Metaverse. The warm colors of the skin symbolize Real Life, while the cold green colors represent the digital world of the Metaverse

ZafGod:

ZafGod is a visual artist based in Bucharest, Romania. He has a background in traditional art which he uses as a base for his digital experiences.

As an inspiration for his piece, ZafGod envisions the Web3 user enjoying the dream-like world of the Metaverse. He used VR to create the elements in a neon-doodle style, this decision gave the piece it’s 2D style and added a more natural human touch to is. The piece itself depicts “Web3 user enjoying the delights offered by this new exciting world, with naïve nature of doodles highlighting this.

MOYA:

MOYA is the cross-metaverse infrastructural network that helps brands connect with consumers through digital assets in any reality. MOYA designers participated in the Škodaverse community competition with visuals inspired by tire marks which themselves create a unique design on the road. The stripes are placed in a chaotic way to represent that there are no rules in the Metaverse - it is the fun behind the chaos! MOYA hoodies will be activated through an additional AR Filter that will bring the designs to life in the palm of your hand.
