FINNEYPEPE was Created by pkeane4osu on October 15, 2016, or 36 days after the very first RarePepe(NAKA) was created. At the time I was most concerned with Protecting Hal's name due to all the uncertainty from the Pepe image BEFORE RarePepe's was Created. That is one of 2 reasons I did not submit it as a RarePepe then, and the second reason is that I was looking for a REAL Image, True to His life when he was healthy, that could be acquired and used for this purpose. Once I acquired the sketch of Hal, this is what I created. It is Registered with the first and the original XCP asset Registrar, KaleidoscopeXCP.

I created this collectible in honor of computer scientist and early Bitcoin developer, Hal Finney. For many crypto pioneers, Hal is a legend second only perhaps to Satoshi Nakamoto himself.
