His face is concealed from the viewer as he gazes into the reflection of his phone screen. In the distance, an ancient monument towers over the mystical landscape. It possesses a strange and arcane essence.

This work was created with the intention to portray symbols of both the Bitcoin and Pepe communities in a subtle yet profound way. As with this painting’s counterpart, FAKEGENESIS, the anonymous masked figure alludes to all of us as one group and equally, as Satoshi Nakamoto. Further, the green camel references the iconic logo of the infamous Silk Road marketplace, created in 2011.
