The Foreshadow

I hadn’t visited my home in Australia in 2 years, and after my green card was approved I hopped on the first flight to reunited with my family. I went straight to the same beach I first flew my drone at back in 2017. It was November 2019 at the time, Australia was getting slammed by bushfires and little did they know a pandemic was around the corner. The smoke was so bad in Cronulla, that you couldn’t really shoot towards the horizon. I was so excited to shoot but also the conditions weren’t in my favor at all. As the sun rose one morning through the thick smoke, I took a few shots and wasn’t the happiest with them.. then I panned my camera down and saw these four men taking a morning walk together. It made me feel like I was home again. The small town unity. I left Australia the next day not knowing what was about to happen, and I haven’t been able to get back there since.

I will return back to that beach to shoot very soon I hope.
