When I saw the prompt "reflections" I thought the same way I'm sure many of you would - mirrors, water, etc. When I asked my wife about it though, she took the prompt differently, rather a reflection of past decisions and artwork. More than half of the way through genuary, I decided to combine two pieces:
One, the simplest composition but the most impactful conceptually (006) and the other the most complex technically but the least conceptual (008). Together, they take a new form.
An annual event for generative artists around the world, Genuary challenges artists to produce a piece of art every day of January using a suite of provided prompts.
The Golden Token will entitle you to a guaranteed burn-to-claim for a 1/1 from this period. There are only as many Golden Tokens as there are days in January!
Art pieces will be posted sporadically and will be first-come first-serve. If you're slow to the jump, you might have trouble minting your 1/1 before the end of the month. Not to fret, unclaimed pieces will still be available throughout the month.
In the event that I do not feel a piece is releasable, either it's too derivative or not up to my standards, I'll replace that piece with a different claim from a reasonably similar output.
It's a pretty decent possibility that with the craziness of life, I might not complete + mint the prompts on the given day. If this happens, don't worry, I'll get back around to it!
