Bomb Story: There are a few half-toned Adam Bombs in the Squad, but this was one of the first. The reprographic technique of half-toning has been popular throughout various generations of art, from the early screen-printing and lithographs of Warhol to the Photoshop edits of early-2000s streetwear. Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: Duck Hunter, a camouflage born in WW2, is identifiable by rounded, irregular shapes. Our first attempt, Duck Green, was re-imagined as chunky blocks to respond to the curved nature of the origina; reference. It was our tenth anniversary year and Duck Green was decked across everything from outerwear jackets to Penny skateboards.
