Bomb Story: Tomato Adam is an obscure, lesser-known Adam Bomb that's been buried in the archives. We can't even remember if and when it was produced, let alone if it was a collaboration(?). It was such a core piece and so under-the-radar, that many of the people here on staff didn't even know of its existence. This makes Tomato Adam one of the most fabled of all the Adam Bomb Squad and the green version even more special. | Background Story: In the early 2000s, all-over-prints reigned supreme in independent streetwear. The trend was a response to the boring solids and understated color-blocking of the dominant skate and urban market. It also followed the footsteps of Nigo's A Bathing Ape camos. Smaller, T-shirt-based brands like ours tapped into the ancient screen-printing techniques of roller-printing, oversized screens, and belt-printing to execute messy patterns over seams, collars, and hemlines. Of all the all-over-prints The Hundreds was responsible for during this time, Cherries was Ben's least favorite. But Bobby loved the kitschy nature, Americana flair, and the rockabilly/punk connotations.
