Bomb Story: For several years, The Hundreds compiled a collection exclusively for Hawaiian retail partners, entitled The Hundreds Hawaii. Pineapple Adam was offered in this collection. Little known fact, for some reason, the designer who worked on this wrote, ""Mahalo"" (translated as ""Thank You"") instead of something more like ""Aloha,"" underneath the character. We were too late to catch the mistake and so Hawaiian retailers used the imagery as window decals to show their customers gratitude.| Background Story: There are a stable of animals that parade through The Hundreds' history: white tigers, California condors, dodo birds, coyotes, mammoths, and most notably, hyenas. These bone-crushing animals are regarded for their opposing personality traits. Although they audibly laugh, they are feared as vicious, predatory beasts. The Hundreds, as a brand, also lives comfortably between these lines of irreverence and reverence.
