Dlawr: Photo a Day 2024
There's something about simplicity in art.
I once saw a photo exhibit at the MOMA that highlighted numbers a guy had seen while traveling. The images weren't extravagant. They were simple but beautiful moments. I look for those moments.
The thing is though, if you're constantly searching, you just might miss them.
You have to be specifically present and details will catch your eye when you least expect it.
I saw this image as we boarded the plane moments ago. I saw the headphones, the analog buttons, and the landline. I knew this was the one.

My name is David. I am a portrait photographer from Orlando, Fl.
This project is a continuation of a series I started in 2022.
For all of 2024, I will be making and minting one photo a day for an entire year. It will be a mix of portraits, candids, and day-to-day life as I see it.
Unless otherwise noted, all images will be shot on my Canon Mark Iv and edited in Lightroom. All are minted on a custom Manifold contract. I've put my heart into this and hope you will enjoy it.
