Dlawr: Photo a Day
I'm inspired deeply by the artists "Austin Visual" and Gregory Crewdson. Austin is known in the NFT space for creating a body of work called "Sleeping Suburbia" where he documented homes at night for years on end. Gregory is known for creating completely staged shots of neighborhoods and homes. He literally builds each of his photo sets from scratch. It is some of the most beautiful and compelling work I've ever seen.
I'm keenly aware of all the moments that we miss out on in our day-to-day lives. This image is called "Do You See Me?" I took it while on a stroll tonight.
My name is David. I am a portrait photographer from Orlando, Fl.
This project is a continuation of a series I started in 2022.
For all of 2024, I will be making and minting one photo a day for an entire year. It will be a mix of portraits, candids, and day-to-day life as I see it.
Unless otherwise noted, all images will be shot on my Canon Mark Iv and edited in Lightroom. All are minted on a custom Manifold contract. I've put my heart into this and hope you will enjoy it.
