the prophet and the child, two beings from vastly different walks of life, formed an unlikely companionship in their journey to aurich. the prophet, hailing from the recently destroyed town of hesperides, had never encountered another being like the child. although largely opposed to how mankind had used angelstone to create artificial intelligence and machines of war, he came to admire the inner machinations of the child, a kind-hearted, empathetic being. so too did the child learn more about life in elysia from the prophet. having been raised in an environment largely removed from the cultural vibrancy of the world, the child grew fond of their newfound freedom beyond the subterranean network of hidden military and research bases they had grown up on. they loved to hear about the festivals and rich culture of hesperides, which the prophet would gleefully recount as they journeyed across the countryside. as they neared the city, their companionship grew into friendship, and the pair became increasingly close and protective of eachother. they shared their innermost secrets, hopes, and fears as they gazed at the stars each night, reflecting on these stories and enjoying the beauty of the land as they journeyed each day.
