Zero Work

A retired oil rig worker had traded his years to work on a platform hovering high above the ocean. An inhospitable environment of noise, grease, and hard work in the sun and rain. Tasked with the messy and difficult toil of pulling money out of the ocean floor. He now worked only for his hammock in which to read books, labouring only to eat every part of the ripest mango. His home was a humble shed, a place to feel cozy with an enthusiastic vegetable garden, a small babbling river of songs, and fruit trees to whisper secrets. All nestled within the beautiful silence of nature and no machinery in sight.
