In the fall of last year I released 5664 Fair Ave, a collection of song demos and art pieces that were meant to archive an important part in my life. I was 19, had just moved to my first apartment in North Hollywood, and spent my days toiling over musical projects that never saw the light of day. We would spend hours tinkering with song ideas in that 1 bedroom apartment, and then when we felt burnt out, we’d walk down Burbank to Circus Liquor to buy a bag of peanuts and chat on the steps outside.

I made this project to commemorate those times with my friends- watching movies with D, picking up coffee with Jed and Mary.

I released 3 collections- 15 tracks total, of song sketches and loosies from that room. Along with a website I coded to showcase a few visual pieces I made, inspired by that period of my life. There’s a beautiful article on the site about it all, written by the wonderful Emilie Friedlander. We sat down for a chat about it and she captured the energy as if she was there living through it with us.

All the pieces in the collection were minted on ZORA. When they found out about it, they sent over Trevor and Colin (the sweeeeeetest!!!) to my house to capture where I am now and talk about what that project means to me. This feature was shot and produced by ZORA, beyond grateful for them to share this moment with me.
