This is n0sfertu, an homage to the iconic movie and eternal creature that continues to fuel our nightmares.

n0sfrtu is a digital collectable of generative music. Each track of this 4-song EP explores a distinct style and genre, while staying true to the original film’s dark and sinister undertones.

“Bombastic” pushes the limits of distorted guitars and teeth-rattling bass. “Synthetic” explores the industrial drones of evil machinery. “Acoustic” serenades like a funeral dirge from the Dark Ages. “Atmospheric” pushes the limits of mental terror.

The magical Async platform creates a unique, one-of-a-kind mix for each track so that every collectible exists as a unique version pulled from thousands of combinations.

Each track comes with a distinct album cover sourced from the movie’s original stills.

One lucky collector will randomly draw the “legendary” edition of n0sfrtu, which comes with an album cover sourced from the original movie poster. In addition, the original owner of the legendary edition gets a free audio mix by G3ARZ (J. Thorn) for a project of their choosing.

J. Thorn has licensed n0sfrtu as CC0 or “No Rights Reserved,” waiving all rights to the work and placing the project as completely as possible in the public domain, so that others may freely build upon, enhance, and reuse the works for any purposes without restriction under copyright or database law.

Owners of these digital collectables can download, alter, remix, or edit each individual instrument track (called “stems”) for any project or purpose, including commercial uses, without restriction.
