The Giant Squid Nebula is also known as Outters 4 (Ou4) was a relatively newly discovered deep space object only in 2011 by French astronomer Nicolas Outters.

It is located in the constellation of Cepheus. This extremely faint mixed emission and reflection nebula requires tens of hours of imaging.

As its name suggests it covers a very large area in the sky and has a bipolar shape of a planetary nebula.
